The handle is for holding, not for lifting

A padded handle runs along the spine. It is there for the two seconds at a kerb, in a lift or beside a cyclist when you want him still and close. It is not a carrying handle — a Frenchie’s whole weight hanging from his back is not what the stitching is for.

Molle webbing, because the patch is the point

Rows of webbing run down both sides. They take a hook‑and‑loop patch, a small light, or a poo‑bag holder, and they are the reason people buy this style. The harness arrives plain — whatever goes on it is yours to pick.

Four colours, none of them loud

Khaki, army green, black and pink. The webbing, the buckle and the handle are the same colour as the body, so it reads as one piece rather than a black harness with a coloured panel stitched on.

Which size for an adult French Bulldog?
Usually M, chest 50 to 56 centimetres. A small adult takes S, a broad one L. Measure behind the front legs before choosing.
Does it say ‘service dog’ anywhere?
No. The webbing is plain. Most tactical harnesses ship with service‑dog lettering, which is a claim your dog cannot back up and in some places a legal problem. This one leaves that to you.
Can I lift him by the handle?
Hold him, yes. Lift him, no. Use both hands under the chest when you need to carry him.
Will it stop him pulling?
A handle and a back ring give you control, not a training result. If he leans into the leash, the front‑ring harnesses in the no‑pull section are the ones that turn him rather than tow him.
Is it waterproof?
It is nylon webbing with a padded panel. It handles rain and dries, but it is not a sealed fabric and it will hold water for a while after a swim.
